Ayrburn Precinct (Ayrburn) will have on site and be operating an outside ice-skating rink (the Rink).

Safety Guidelines
At Ayrburn your safety and enjoyment are our priority. You must always follow instructions from our staff when you are Skating at Ayrburn.
Whilst all reasonable measures are in place to ensure your safety, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of the safety information prior to entering the Rink. It is your responsibility to bring to the attention of Ayrburn staff any event or act which may impact on your safety while Skating.
You are always responsible for supervision of all children in your group. An adult must always be present, either on the Rink or within the Ayrburn Skating area when children are Skating. If children are left unsupervised they will be asked to leave the Rink.
All incidents are required to be reported to the Ice Rink Manager (or a Ice Rink Member of Staff).
Skater’s Safety Guidelines and Assumption of Risk Agreement
Ayrburn will not be responsible for any loss or injury incurred. Please note you Skate at your own risk. Skaters and Spectators understand and agree to the following:
• Skate in an anti-clockwise direction unless directed otherwise.
• Ensure ice-skates are fitted correctly.
• Helmets are essential for children, we have a limited number available. Please bring your own.
• We recommend the wearing of gloves.
• No spins, jumps or weaving amongst other skaters in a public session.
• Keep a safe distance from other skaters.
• Always maintain reasonable control of speed.
• Maintain a proper lookout to avoid other Skaters, objects or conditions on the surface of the Rink.
• Accept responsibility for knowing the range of abilities while on skates, and Skate within the limits of that ability.
• Intoxicated Skaters will not be permitted onto the Rink and may be asked to be removed. You cannot consume any for or drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) on the Rink.
Assumption of Risk Agreement
Skating is an extreme sport which can result in harm or injury. By engaging in Skating, both Skaters and spectators are deemed to have knowledge of, and assume the risk of Skating which includes but is not limited to:
1. Injuries that result from collision or contact with other skaters or other individuals who are on the Rink.
2. Injuries that result from falls.
3. Injuries that involve objects or artificial structures that are within the properly intended path of travel of the Skater.
4. Cold exposure.
You acknowledge all of the above risks which could result in injury and you Skate at your own risk.
Ayrburn always reserves the right to refuse entry onto the ice to anyone not complying with these policies.
Agreement
Ayrburn Precinct reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Rink. If you have pre booked tickets for the date that the Rink is closed, then Ayrburn will refund your booking or make a new booking for you at a suitable time.
By making a booking, you agree to be unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Safety Guidelines, Ayrburn Precinct’s Terms and Conditions, Ayrburn Precinct’s Privacy Policy.
You agree that any photographs taken of you in the Ayrburn ice-skating area (on or off the Rink) may be used by Ayrburn. You further agree to receive emails from us relating to Ayrburn Precinct.
